PHP 2.5 MILLION CVBA DIRECTOR'S CUP 6-BULLSTAG/COCK COMBO DERBY
First of its kind in Cebu, the Php 2.5 million 6 Bullstag/Cock Derby combines bullstags and cocks into an entry. Depending upon his preference an entrant can field in any combination of bullstag/cock that would total 6 fighters. Therein bullstags would be matched against bullstags and cocks against cocks. Or better yet he may also elect to field full 6 bullstag or a a full 6 cock entry... which ever suits his taste. Entry fee is set at Php 15,000 which by present day standards is comparatively low considering that a guaranteed Php 2.5 million purse awaits the champion. For bullstags, only NFGB member association wingbands are accepted wherein the entrant is required to furnish a copy of the 2007 banding sheets upon submission of weights and wingbands.
Because of its uniqueness, the attractive pot money and latitude of choice it offers, this particular derby has drawn related interest upon breeders and aficionados from all over the country. Thanks to the creativity of our President who originally came up with this idea. This derby is scheduled to be staged on March 24,25,26,27 and 29, 2008 at the New Talisay Tourist & Sports Complex – Home of CVBA.
All CVBA members and non-members are therefore encouraged to field an entry in this scheduled Director's Cup Derby to further ascertain its overall success.

NEW SET OF NFGB OFFICERS AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders Inc. recently held their induction of Officers and Board of Directors at the Alta Vista Golf Course with no less than Cebu City outstanding leader Mayor Tommy Osmena as the inducting officer.
The new set of officers is led by Mr. Ricardo “Ricoy” Palmares, President, Mayor Jess Nalupta, VP for Luzon, Mayor Juancho Aguirre, VP for Visayas, Mr. Nitoy Nasser, VP for Mindanao, Mr. Fred Katigbak, Secretary, Mr. Al Garcia, Treasurer, Mr. Arnel Anonuevo, Executive Director, Mr. Victor Sierra as Business Manager, Mr. Tongkoy Aseniero, Public Relations Officer, Dr. Gil Sandig and Mr. Cano Daniel as Board of Directors, Mr. Lance dela Tore, Mr. Jesse Ledesma and Mr. Freddie Yulo as Board of Advisers.
